You need new rivets. Part number N91078801

15mm or 17mm stubby bolts, i dont rememebr which but they work very well!

I Self Tapped mine on and filled the rivet holes with silicone

Self tappers are ok, but will cause rust in the long run.. I fitted mine, gaffa taped it into place and got Skoda to put some more big fat rivets back in like the factory ones.

Pop rivet gun. Mine was £15 with a load of rivets from screwfix.

For the carrier you need skoda rivets (they are huge) and a lazy tong riveter (toolstation).

For the window mech onto the carrier you can just use a normal pop rivet gun from anywhere Inc Wilkinsons for 8quid Inc rivets

^ Skids rivets?

Oh and don't forget the plumbers gold to get a decent waterproof seal on the carrier (also toolstation)

Edited now. Was bloody autocorrect.

They are called Rivnuts.

Does it seal properly with rivits then?

I've seen a lot of people say that they are to thick so the carrier doesn't actually get pulled against the door.

Yeah, didn't see an issue. Just run a bead of silicone around if your worried.

They're easy to take back off if there is an issue.

My fabia will be in the garage so doesn't bother me if it's not sealed haha

Sometimes worth epoxy resin glueing the rivnut in before clamping it down.

Don't buy a cheap lazy tong. Mine was a £20 silver line one and it bent in half on the first rivet. Hence why I self tapped

Love the rivnut solution, hate the filthy cheap roofing bolts, couldn't you have bought some nice button head M6 allen screws instead?

I could have, but i the roofers sit flush and i didn't want to waste a good screw.
