Rear Bench

Featured Replies

Hi all. I think there have been a couple of people asking this, but I've tried and failed to remove the rear bench so I can fit seat covers. The front comes up no problem but the back where the isofix points are doesn't seem to budge at all! Do these fixing points need to be removed first before the rest of the bench will move?

Cheers!

Aren't the releases in the boot on the mk3?

Take the isofix caps off and then the plastic surrounds. There is a hook welded to the chassis on the right and left hand side of the rear underside of the bench seat - push the bench seat down and back with one hand whilst you try to release the hook with the other hand.
