Interior Smelly Stuff

Featured Replies

Hi peeps. What do you rate for making the inside smell nice. Want something that lasts. Poorboys is 'ok' the wax pack stuff I got lasts 5 mins. Throw me some suggestions!

California scents I've heard good things about. Available at most motor factors.

I currently use poorboys leather smell. Lasts a week. Spray in the interior job.

The above last for ages and are nice smelling. My work college gave me one and it still worked 6 months later.

I use nothing!

Hate air fresheners.

Best thing you can do is keep it clean to stop anything producing bad smells.

I regularly give the seats a wipe down with a cloth in some warm water with washing powder in.

I also give the matts a scrub in the bath tub with some carpet shampoo every now and then.

Hang them from the rear grab handles, they last for weeks

Try working near Mogden, you'll soon change your mind :p

Though in honesty yes keeping the car clean is always a good way to keep most smells away.

This is a good bit of advice. I used some autoglym interior shampoo the other week to clean my seats and mats. It is slightly fragranced but left a lovely clean smell for about 4 weeks with out the need of air freshers.

I know where you are on this Andy .... I used Poorbhoys for a few years initially.

I have also tried the Wax Pack Smelly Beaver stuff - and although a good range of scents..... don't last.

In saying that - currently using the Wax Pack Black Cherry spray and its nice.

Fall back position - I used this on SWMBO's car and others.... and Alan uses it too.

Smelly beaver sounds like something I'd like to keep as far away from my car as possible... :D

The beaver freshners that hang were ok. The spray scents were pretty poor imo.

My misses love the AG dangle ones fruity and nice :)

Chemical Guys New Car - don't think they do it anymore though.
