The 'I didn't get what I ordered' thread

Featured Replies

SLA is the one thing that I would have rejected the car over if it had not been ordered correctly.

As for is it worth it.. well the lights do some amazing things, so yes I would say it’s worth it (sorry to rub salt in your wounds)

I'd have to agree. It's gone onto my "wouldn't order another car without it" list. This is coming from an Octavia with Xenon and AFS with HBA. Light years better.

Can I ask, those who have ended up with black leather instead of beige, was it a lease or private purchase? Not that it should matter. Did you accept the vehicle.

My car has a confirmed be of 52, it is petrol blue with beige leather. I chose the colour because it matched the interior. If it arrives not as I specc'd I won't be accepting it.

So are the lights better than those on the pre facelift superb 2 with Xenons? I have found main beam beam on my current car to be absolutely brilliant but dipped beam bordering on the dangerous with the relatively short beam pattern.

Yes, as the dip beam will also lift the n/s headlight and point it to the left slightly so not to dazzle on coming traffic, difficult to explain really but it is impressive, so much so that putting main beam on doesn’t make that much difference
