Post pics of your Fabia on lowering springs

Featured Replies

I want to lower my vrs, but not getting coilovers again, done that on three of my other Fabias now so going to try springs.

It's a daily driver with curbs and speed bumps every day so not after crazy lows or any sort of stance, just want to remove some of that arch gap!

So post up your car on lowering springs and stay which brand they are and how much they lower them.

Thanks.

There's mine this was with H&R lowering springs, 30mm drop.

They're okay... No issues with them for daily use whatsoever so far and they've been on for nearly 2 years now.

Edit: Sorry it's a poor old picture, I don't seem to take many photo's of my car any more!

Yep, had those, didn't like them either!

Looking at those H&R 30mm it looks like a nice ride hight, maybe a little low for what I want actually! So possibly 20mm or 25mm springs would do for me as well.

I think Lee01 also runs the H&R's with a 30mm drop, I find them fine only time I get issues is with larger speedbumps that stick up somewhat and that tends to scrape a tiny little bit.

I'm umming and arring what to do with mine now anyway, Coilovers, stage 2, sell it... Who knows!

One thing... I found with these we didn't need to change drop links which I was told was a possibility... So I've got a brand new shorter set sat in the garage collecting dust!

I went from AP Shocks and Springs to AP Coilovers and if I could rewind time I wouldn't of bothered with the coilovers.

Sorry no pictures but they would be my recommendation.

I'll see if anyone posts up more 30mm springs or 25mm springs, it's sort of hard to tell on a black car if you know what I mean!

Another for H&R springs. 30mm drop on a vrs only noticeably harsh when going over steep sided speed bumps.

Pics showing arch gaps below.

Lol, I'm kinda feeling the same.

Went from standard suspension to AP coilovers as I really hated the arch gap.

But my family complaining too much about them. May have to change them down the line.

I'm still very undecided! I loved the look of coilovers, completely changes the look of it. Just the ride is unforgivable unless you want to spend quite abit compared to springs which are around £100, some more some less

Here's mine on 25mm Eibachs! Think they spot on for the amount of speed bumps around here!

Dropped mine by 35mm and the ride isn't too bad

Its hard to tell with lowering springs then, ovbiously depends which brand you go for, but the above looks higher than Parf1uk's above that on 25mm springs... and yours with 35mm springs!

I think ill go for 25mm springs anyway, i just want to loose some arch gap rather than "lower" the car properly :D

Another vote for eibachs here.
