Has anybody actually removed dashboard vents? I can apply a little force but I would rather know first if there is a proper way.

Hello,

Yes I have removed all dash vents. I would advise using some plastic trim tools (plentiful and cheap on eBay).

Refitting the central one is challenging, I'm sure the refitting of was a mixture of brute force and ignorance TBH

Can you post a picture in case there's anything obvious causing an issue?

Thanks jonny, the vents havn't been off before, and I've just pulled off the front part of the assembly, but to be able to mate it with the inner bit which moves, I think I will have to remove the inner, snap them together and refit as a unit. I am quite conversant with trim removal, but you know how it is with something new, you are perhsps over cautious! Thanks for the reply.
