Budget lowering, coilovers or springs?

Featured Replies

Bearings / strut top sit on top of front shocks and bolt to body. Renew while your there. £30-£40 ish for good ones.

Eish lol. Buy the best you can??  Dont over think it too much.

Fantastic deal, pull the trigger son or we'll be here all year.

  • AP lowering springs and shocks however...

  • Basically.... AP coilovers are fantastic mid range, they are around £370 and that's that. AP also sell shocks and springs, none adjustable but obviously lower than standard for around £260 Jom coil

Well, I've had a message on ebay from TDC Automotive, who stock the Eibach Pro-Kit springs and the correct B4 Dampers. They have offered me both as a package for £310 delivered. Good deal?

Ah, come on, Sep. I like to Procrastinate! One small problem, my clutch has started slipping, whilst in heavy traffic, so I'm back to the dealership I bought it from on Thursday - it looks like the 'toys' I wanted to buy will be put on hold until then :(

Bad luck, so after all that your no getting them?!!

Guess clutch needed more.

I feel another thread coming on.......

Save you the hassle its LUK

Nah, I'll still get the springs and dampers, just it might be one at a time, now. I thought with new dampers, springs, console bushes etc. I'll be doing a little bit of preventative maintenance, whilst making the car look better. Maybe I've been looking in the wrong area. And sorry for keep posting all the time - I'm a bit late to the party!
