switched 12v near rear view mirror?

Featured Replies

Looking to install a dash cam, does anyone know they closest place to the rear view mirror to pick up a switched 12v?

Thanks

I haven’t physically checked as my camera still hasn’t arrive yet, but I will be taking mine from a fuse behind the glovebox, (via a fuse tap)

It's in the abovehead lights. 12V is there, when you open the car and is gone 3 sec after you lock the door by remote. It's perfect for the cam.

Do you have any more info about this? Was going to go the fuse box route but this is a pain in RHD cars.
