hello guys my poor old vrs has been standing for over two months while i have been really ill in northampton general hospital. so i came to start her ystrday(sat) lo and behold dead battery!!!! jump started her this morning took her for a long ride and had the esp light on also abs light.the esp has now gone off leaving the abs on still ?? also  found the heater?cooling in car fan is also not working.cant do a lot myself at the mo so can anyone help

I'd disconnect battery for 30 min and then re connect , could just be where you jump started it. I know abs light came on when I had a golf once after battery was flat.

Check fuses for fan, heater.

cheers guys.will av a check on those fuses.if i disconnect batt will i need security code for the nexus radio/cd player?if so where is that likely to be.also i noticed that when i locked the car by clicking my remote twice it normally beeps twice and lights flash now it only flashes lights.
