Just taken delivery of my first Skoda - a new Fabia III 1.2 TSi LE L in Quartz Grey. Factory options included Colour Concept (Black), Sports Suspension and Sunset Glass (from B Pillar back). Although the Sports Suspension meant that the car was lowered 15mm all round, it arrived with the rear sitting 10mm higher than the front. A pair of Eibach 25mm drop springs for the rear soon sorted that. The only other mod required was a black Monte Carlo grille surround to complete the stealth look - not sure why a Black Concept car is fitted with a stock chrome grille.

 

Absolutely delighted with the car. It has exceeded all expectations in terms of looks, performance and build quality. This won't be my last Skoda!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I collected my new Fabia today also - interestingly it's the same specification as yours apart from standard suspension and grill - but my initial impressions are not so positive. Compared to my lovely old Mark 1 Fabia TDI Elegance, the interior seems to be of poorer quality, the ride feels jittery and there seems to be far too much tyre noise. I don't find the seats very comfortable either. So, a bit underwhelmed at the moment.

I've got the exact same color Fabia III, except for the mud flaps (which I don't have). I think it looks awesome! (It's just that it might be a bit hotter in the summer with a black roof ).

 

I too have Sunset windows + sports suspension, as well as sports wheel & seats, sports pedals, etc.

 

What other extras do you have?

Thanks, jon15. The only other extras are sports pedals. Wish I had selected the Sports Seats but can't think of anything else I'd want. No problem with summer heat up here at 58 degrees North - we're lucky if temperatures creep into the 20's Celsius!

No. Isle of Lewis, Western Isles.

I like the black design pack....I like the Monte but its expensive and I think the garish interior would wear on me....this on an SE or SE-L is pretty good middle ground.
