Skoda loyalty discount?

Featured Replies

Looks like Skoda are running a free £500 fuel for orders from 15th (exclusions for vRS230, superb, Citigo S) (1)

Does that mean I could have £1000 deposit contribution, £1000 loyalty bonus, £500 fuel, anything I can haggle (say 4-5%), and get interest free over 42 months (which saves £2k-3k in interest). Therefore effectively offering me about five grand off. (2)

Presumably these discounts will be reflected in the residual value in few years time.

(1) Other members have talked about this - can you point me to the evidence? - I do believe you BTW

(2) Yes, because I am working on the same assumption following a conversation with a local stealer.

Skoda UK website, click on Finance, there is an item marked Big Event, all details are there.

I also like the fact that sat nav now comes with free updates for life, not just 3 years. Buying this year will save £110 in car tax per year compared to one registered from April 2017, so that will save over £1000 over its lifetime.

Looks like I'm changing my car then...

Just need to decide Octavia again or Yeti.

Horton's beat D M Keith by £2000 when I bought in 2013. Keith's have now written offering a loyalty deal for previous good customers.

Looks like they forget they tried to screw me out of 2 grand!!

I therefore assumed it was a Skoda deal and not dealer based.

When I ordered my vRS 4x4, I managed to negotiate a decent discount in the region of just under £3.5k. After ordering, I went back to sign the paperwork and they offered me the extra £1000 discount as a loyalty discount but said this was because I bought my current Octavia direct from a Skoda dealer. Had to take my V5 in as proof. On the paperwork, it is shown as a £2000 deposit allowance so I suspect this is one of the many tactics for making the figures stack up for Skoda financial auditors. Either way, it's an extra £1k off without having to haggle!

@Puzzler - did you have a trade in?

They offered an extra discount without you asking..........Sorry was going to post that yesterday but I've only just picked myself of the floor!

Nice to see a good dealer for a change!

Just seen this and I was going to report back about C2C sorry I completely forgot! :(

They use a Skoda dealer's fleet arm so the discount isn't applied on their cars but it is available through Drivethedeal.
