Car seat covers

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

I just wondered if anyone could advise of a website that sells good quality waterproof front and rear seat covers for a Spaceback?

Thanks

ebay ???

Good, cheap generic waterproof covers can be bought for just a few pounds from Asda and Wilko.

Sent from my iPhone 6S Plus using Tapatalk, please excuse any typos.

I have some from my old Rapid from carseatcoversonline based in Stockport. These are made-to-measure ones which fit nicely. When I bought them they only did a half-leather set but they now do a full leather set for the Sport.

They are very nice, well fitted and look great. I've no pics but I'm planning to put my half leather ones on my Sport and get the full leather ones from them.

They don't list them on their website but search eBay and you should find them (sort by price descending).

I'm selling mine if anyone is interested?

I finally got round to purchasing some custom fit seat covers from a reputable auction website. These covers came from Russia and are made specifically to fit the Rapid. They took about 2 weeks to arrive, 1 week to make and one to post. Their customer service is good, English is good and they respond promptly.

The covers are pretty good quality and add some padding to the standard seats. They're dead easy to fit, they have ties and velcro and you basically pull them over the seat. Took me about 30 minutes to do the back, a little longer to do the fronts (especially the bottom of the seat as it's tricky to get the ties in with all the stuff underneath them). Note in these pictures they are still creased as they came packaged up and have not been stretched out yet. Once this is done I will refit them again to really stretch them out especially the front base ones as they are loose at the moment.

One issue I do have is with the headrests, they rear cover has holes for the middle headrest which doesn't exist (not a huge deal). The covers they have given for the headrests don't fit, they're way too small. I've yet to hear back from them as they are on holiday.

They look really good and more importantly preserve my original seats from dirt and damage from my three kids!

Note that I went for black and grey inserts, they didn't do an all-black version which is what I would have preferred. They do other colours too.

Links to pictures below, for some reason I can't embed the pics from OneDrive the forum is not letting me.

whoop_whoop - none of your links work - just get a black screen for each one. Can you have another go please, or just stick them on something like Flickr and link to them from there.

links ok here mate.

OneDrive is a pain, I copied the external link and it worked for a while but maybe they change it dynamically? I tried to embed the picture too into this post but it's not allowed (will raise this with the forum admins).

Anyway here we go, hosted on my personal webspace:

Thanks for persevering. The covers look good. Did they just slip over the existing factory covers, or did you strip back to the foam before fitting?

Hi. Are you able to supply the link to the supplier pls.

I'm after a base rear seat cover

Thanks

In his original post #6 he clearly explains how they fit , as you must have missed that bit :)

Correct they fit over the existing seats as-is they don't replace the foam inserts.

Wow! I've been looking for seat covers for my Spaceback like mad (with the non-detachable headrest). Those are beautiful! Do you think you could get me the supplier's details, too?

Thank you!!
