Build week

Featured Replies

To be honest I have only ever had one second hand car all my other have been new, two renaults, two isuzu's and one ford they have all been better that skoda so far.

try ordering from BMW, Audi, Merc and VW .. that will be a eye opener..

Theres a lot of car manufactures who have say 5 trim levels but offer zero options, this enables them to build and ship cars with dealers grabbing cars from stock rather than "custom" made.

neither of the isuzu's were std and the ford definelty was made to order and all better informed and quicker. The ford was also just after new shape launch as well.

Well had a phone call from skoda customer services, with now build week which is different from what dealer told me of bw 7 unconfirmed. Trying to decide what to do. Do I keep order and wait or cut and run. I am just getting really annoyed of being told one thing by one and something different from another.

Just does not make sense when people who have ordered after me are getting vehicle so much earlier.

What to do what to do.

Did you order using any form of finance?

Yes skoda or vag finance

Yes skoda or vag finance

If it was on a PCP and you try to cancel (even though the car may not be built yet) you remain liable until the car is built and sold on. So I suggest you speak to your dealer about things before you consider  cancelling.

I have a std SE ESTATE 2.0tdi only options are towbar, space saver and boot net programme and its quartz grey. That is it no alloys or a huge long list of options.

My un-educated guess would be that the towbar could be the the cause of the delay. The others seem to be popular add-ons so would assume stock is abundant.

If someone just said that it would not bother me.
