Stunner tyres

Featured Replies

Okay I know there have been quite a lot of threads on tyres lately, but I need to ask if anyone has ever used this brand? Stunner...is it made in Italy? And are they any good?

I came across a tyre shop that has them, and they have a 205/40/16 size....

So...anyone?

Budget.

Never heard of them.

Nah!!

The website won't give me more info on them, but they look good to me. Sure, they're budget, but then again big names like Michelin and Pirelli have high prices because of the name.

budgets, hard wearing and slippy in the wet, mate had them when he bought an alloy package, didnt rate them much, but you get what you pay for.

In the dry he said they were ok

The garage put them on the front when I bought my used vrs. No problems at all in the dry but when wet you have to be very light on the throttle coming out of junctions or off roundabouts in 2nd and 3rd or you lose the front end. Having said that I don't know how good the branded tyres are in the same situation given the torque the car puts out. I haven't had any problems with grip in the wet around corners but I suppose it all depends how hard you drive.

Hmmm, that's better. I'll go take a look at them today again. If I were in England I wouldn't consider tyres that don't handle the wet very well, but we are very unlikely to have any problems like that here.

Thanks for the info dudes.
