if anyone is interested, i have managed to install my underseat box. 

i bought these screws and clips from ebay and it worked fine.

got my boxs today from superskoda they included the screws and clips but the boxs but the boxs have 2 round holes in them which i found very odd. 

 

is part number 1Z08819799B9 for the blanks to fill them ?

 

what is the point in having holes in the bottom of them ??

The holes are to insert a screwdriver to tighten up the fixings when the boxes are in position.

It may not appeal too everyone, but I bought a plastic basket from my local pound shop, applied some sticky backed velcro (the hook side) to the bottom of the basket, placed it under the passengers seat on the carpet, pushed down hard and it has stayed there for three Yeti years, then transferred to the Octavia for two years - still full of bits and pieces including a travel blanket, hi-viz jacket, spare glasses a bottle of water and various things my wife deems necessary on any journey.  OK, it's not as attractive as a fancy little drawer, but it does the job and probably holds a lot more!

i installed my under seat boxs yesterday i got from superskoda. if buying from superskoda note they get delivered with screws but not the blanking plates to fill the holes in them or any instructions on how to fit. i was expecting all parts from superskoda but now have to go to skoda to get the blanking plates so am sorry i did not go to skoda in the first place 

 

after a hour fitting in 26 degree weather in a black car  my advice to any one going to do this job is remove front two bolts holding down the car seat runners,loosen up the two at the rear and tilt the seat back to give extra space. have a long ratcheting flexible screwdriver will save you a lot of hassle! 

 

 

Does anyone have the part number for the box itself?
