engine wobble

Featured Replies

Hi guys i am sorry if this has been mentioned before but i couldn't find it on this forum.

Okay the problem started about a week ago whilst driving the car started wobbling whilst foot on the accelerator but when you take your foot off nothing no problem. Initially thought drive shaft. Took it to my local mechanic and he said could be the dmf. Changed it drove it about 10 miles problem occurred again, took it back to the garage was told its a misfire checked on the computer no 2 and 3 injecters, was told to change all four to be sure. But the problem is still there. Put the computer back on camshaft sensor came up so changed that as well. Took it for a test drive ran good for about 20 miles and surprise surprise it started to wobble again now the mechanic saying it could be crankshaft. Any help would be great as you can imagine my frustration.

Sounds like you need a specialist vw group garage to look at it. No use throwing parts at it in the hope they fix it without a proper diagnosis
