Gizmo, it's an L&K 190 TDi estate so it sounds like the 16" spare. The dealer has quoted £345 but Skaodaparts.com have the wheel and tools at just under £180

just another thought, and I realise that this would be vastly more expensive (but possibly worth it), does anyone know if the well in the Superb III estate will take a full size 19" Phoenix wheel?

 

It will fit, but it will push the boot floor up an extra 30mm as the carpet actually sits on the 205 tyre sidewall.

    If you had chosen spare wheel option at time of order it would only have cost £100 complete.

    cant you put together a quick and dirty kit as follows for about £60 ?........   Spare Wheel - £30 Tyre - source a second hand one - £10? Jack £8.50 Wrench - £7.50

    i think if u have the VBF then yes as it wont matter.   Im reading this as if you dont have the VBF, you need a 6.5" width wheel to avoid it lifting the boot floor (as a 7" would)
