Hi there. Basically i got a fabia vrs. I got octivia 17inch alloys on there. I want to lower my car. What is the best way coilovers or springs and shocks. Best 1 to use in them. Can anyone please help meee

Ap coilovers are the best budget ones to get, lots of users including myself have them.

KW v3 are the best you can buy but are very expensive. What's your budget?

Have you got any pictures mate ? If you dont mind. I just want to spend once so i dont mind about the price but not over the top lol. Will 50mm springs only do the damage ??

When I asked around its better to get springs and dampers kit instead of cheaper coilovers.

I just ordered 40mm vogtland kit from Dpm performance for 300 with the correct rating for a VRS.

Cheaper 256 quid for AP kit but only 24mm drop, the 35/30mm kit isn't rates for the VRS heavier gearbox

I seen some h r shocks and springs 40mm drop for 380 and could get ap coilovers for about 150. I just want my car sitting right. 1 finger gap between tyre and arch. Reali dont know what to do

As far as I've read, JOM are the best value for lowering, but as I have done, extra 100 for a decent set of springs and dampers for a much better and reliable ride.

40mm i think is a good drop as well, it looks about 55m to sit on the tyre but How I like to drive my car wouldn't last a night if I slammed it, haha.

Those AP coilovers for 150 unless you mean second hand are the AP FK or something, absolute crap I read somewhere. Cheap - JOM, but I was advised to go for springs and shocks vs cheap coilovers on a budget

I heated the springs first but i didnt like the ride on them. Then i brought prosport 50mm spring only and the front droped but the back hasnt and the ride is bouncing. I want to get something now thats looks nice and drives okay

Then go for the 40mm kit like I did from DPM performance.

'Visual learner' is a more likely explanation.

Adam. Have you got a picture of your car ?? Want to see how low is 40mm please

No I've ordered them, be fitted in the next 2 weeks.

DPM performance on Facebook has pictures with all their products on customers cars, a few Fabias with links to what they have on which is how I found the ones I got, vogtland 40mm.

There's a nice yellow one with 55m and it looks beautiful just sits on the tyre nice but how I drink that's too much.
