Love the look of my SE-L hatch - moon white on pegasus rims. There are photos on the picture thread.

I ordered candy white (think I may of said this earlier in the thread) but when seeing one next to moon white it looked a bit flat and creamy white which in my opinion didn't suit the car in se business trim.

The candy white needs the big wheels but also i think needs the black roof rails to break up the whiteness.

The moon white with 18 inch alloys looks nice

I ended up swapping to business grey because of this.

I went for candy and used some of the money saving to order the Phoenix 19s in anthracite.

Also I went for the hatch this time. It's a better looking car IMO.

I'll gloss wrap the roof in black.

SE Exec saloon 150 manual, colour maxi dot, parking sensors. Candy white ordered end April have spent a long time thinking about colour since and on Tuesday last week changed to Moon White and was then told this change has moved the build forward by five weeks! Bit of a bonus due early August but will I believe it when I see it. I do think the Moon White looks naff in the showroom but outside it looks much better, each to their own I say.

Well, I have candy white coming as a Hatch with 19" wheels and sunroof.

I let you guys know what I think when it gets here.

It's on the boat to Australia right now.

Expected to arrive at my Port on the 14th July, so I expect to have it by end of July.

I went for moon white and have to say that out of all the s3's se business/ se models white easily looks the best (imho obviously) just seems that in the other colours I have seen they all look a bit unfinished if that makes sense!? Must say it hides the general dirt quite well but first sign of mud and it drives you crazy.

I think the Moon white is nicer than the candy white- as previously said, i ordered my SE Business in Candy white and then changed it to Bus Grey.

 

I think the candy white needs the bigger wheels to finish it off but you can get away with it, with the moon white.

 

The candy white was just too creamy looking for me, hence the change and after seeing one in the car park i made the correct choice in my eyesighted opinion

Candy doesn't look white when compared to Laser White

Thanks Phil. Looks good and I will show this to my wife, as we haven't seen one in this colour yet.

From the look of the picture, I am happy with our selection.

I did a search and this popped up in Australia.

With 19" alloys like my order. Looks great IMO.

Had candy (solid) white on a 2016 Superb and now Moon (metallic) white on our current 2018 Karoq and the Moon really pops in bright sunshine. Worth the extra if anyone is sitting on the fence.

Both those shots make me think the black B-pillars are good thing.

You do realise they both have the transit tape still covering the B-pillars?

Um, no. But I now realise that I don't want transit tape on my B-pillars!

Just go with moon white. It’s subtle metallic but when the sun hits it and it washed its gorgeous 

I have just taken delivery of a Moon White Superb after having a Candy White for three years and I prefer the Candy as it is a little warmer and the Moon White is a blue tint and slightly harder. However opinions are like noses, everyone has one.

Footnote, the dealer was so proud of this car when it was new and shiny he covered it with a cloth in the showroom and uncovered it when I picked it up, he didn't want it to get soiled.

Have just taken delivery of a Moon White Octavia SE L 1.5 TSI ACT and HAD a Candy White SE L 2.0 TDI.

 

In bright light you really cannot see the difference, but when its early evening, or in shade, it shows up as a subtle grey translucence.

 

The best way to see the different is look at the Colour Balls at the dealers, and believe what you see. 

 

Dont try to compare in daylight they look the same !

Moon White Sportline 280 with black supernova wheels. Having owned a candy white Octavia vRS I agree the moon white is nicer!
