It will do from were you've taken the tube off around the N75, find yourself a t piece hose connector and join it to the vacuum take off that pushes onto the fuel pressure regulator at the end of the fuel rail. This will give you a reading on the vacuum being created at the in let manifold when the turbo is not spinning up.

Hope this helps!

okeej so i should take the vacuum from the btr hose ??

thanks for the answer  =) much appreciated

It should work perfectly fine connected to the to of the recirc valve. That's where mine is and its never missed a beat.

Check all connections. Also check that the T piece you have isnt meant to be a certain way round as that can cause issues. Failing that, faulty gauge maybe?

okeej so yours is installed exactly as mine ? and  works like it should ???

Sorry, can you clarify, when you say comes up zero do you mean you don't get a negative reading when you lift off the throttle etc, or do you mean zero full stop?

Thought you meant the former, as Decender says should give you positive readings. The tubing you have used, is it up to the job, ie, is it easy to crush flat, it looks a bit like silicone air hose tubing which is quite pliable.

Is it ok to tap into the hose off the recirc valve? Ive been looking for somewhere other than the fpr to install mine. Does it work sound off that hose?

I would always measure as close to the manifold as possible, tap the FPR (the round thing with the rubber pipe at the end of the shiny stainless steel fuel rail) at the D/V feed you are at the end of a line with no "flow" as such, so readings won't be as accurate.

okeej thanks  i will be doing that just bought a T pipe and a straight pipe and a new hose so i can make it the right length

This is the pipe you need to tap into, click the pic for the full gauge installation guide including AFR, and oil temperature
