Keen to get a roof rack for my fl 2010 vrs, does anyone know where to get one? Would rather avoid any horrible fitting universal kit if at all possible. My model is the saloon BTW .

     Try Steven @ Skippy roof racks, he has an ebay shop. Email him  [email protected]. I brought my last two Thule roof racks off him.

I assume you have a hatchback? The MkII Octavia was available in either a five door hatchback or estate.

 

The estate has roof rails already on, the hatch doesn't. If you open the doors you should see the securing holes that the foot pack that supports the roof bars secures to.

Atera AR5056 fit the Octavia II hatchback, they are nice and sturdy and were the best price/quality balance I could find when I was looking for bars.

I have the exact same Thule set to sell too - I am in staffordshire near cannock chase.

 

Whilst the bars will fit my new R I need a new foot pack and support bars from front to rear which will look horrid.
