Featured Replies

Pipe underneath the inlet manifold that connects to the pcv has split and needs replacing. Can anyone point me in the direction of the pipes i need as i mayaswell replace the lot if im under there. Thanks

OE or silicone replacements?.

You could just get the internal diameters and get what you need from ASH hoses on ebay? Good seller and never let me down.

For part numbers you could get the info from ETKA for oem stuff.

I got a 6 pipe set off ebay for 20 ish quid I think, UK seller, if you are happy with standard they are fine.

Hope you have smal hands though space is very limited under the manifold :D

You need to replace the lot ideally because it will all eventually fail if it hasn't already done.

90 degree plastic hose, one way valve and 2 hoses, which you can replace with much better silicone versions.

Doesn't cost much and doing it this way means you can assemble it all off the car which makes it miles easier when you come to fit it all.

I got all mine off ebay by searching VW 1.8T breather hoses, then its quite obvious from there the bits you need to order.

I used this as bible when I did mine. got a carrier bag full of leftover broken pipes and carp!

recommend to buy the plastic elbow that goes into the crankcase, and a new dipstick tube... the plastic turns to glass and will break no matter how careful you are!

I made my own catch can from a poundland coffee jar - worked well but all the paint shrivelled up inside after abut 3 month.. i emptied it once a week in spring!
