Did my oil change today, but getting the cap off the oil filter housing was a royal pain in the backside!

In the end I had to disconnect the throttle body to get enough room to remove the cap.

Does anyone know an easier way to get the cap off?

Also what size socket is it to remove the cap as I had to use an oversized AF socket to get it off and I'd like to get the correct size for next time.

Agreed it's not the easiest engine to get the cap out.

I needed a breaker bar, couldn't free it with this...

 

 

So used this!

 

 

 

Worked a treat.
