A Suzuki Grand Vitara will do the job perfectly and plenty to chose from.

Brother in law had one of these too in between the sorrento's, he hated it and not heavy enough for towing as the caravan would more or less dictate where it went not the other way round, he only got it as the first Sorrento went bang outside the Suzuki dealers!

Sorento is home, drives well, enough power and it ploughed down our lane without issue, quite impressed really.

 

 It is no 330d but the 330d is no 4x4. So far it is better than I expected and a lot of car for a couple of grand.
