Greetings i own a Skoda Octavia Mk2 TDI (1z) (2008 model) and i was wondering if it would be possible to swap its original speedometer

with the one from the FL version (as this one looks way better compared to that dull Green)

WITH THIS

 

I'm rather certain that the one from the FL version fits (shape-wise) not so sure about the plugs on the back or the overall compatibility though.
Can anyone shed his lights?

i think eddie-nl has managed to do this, if I remember correctly you'll need an adaptor loom as the connectors are different and I'm not sure if you'll get full functionally or not.

 

An alternative is a pre-FL maxidot panel which looks like the top image here:

To be honest, i didn't even know that the TOP one existed..

A pre-fl maxidot diesel panel is far easier to come by than a petrol.

 

They come up cheap occasionally.
