I was going to say exactly the same.

The 1.2 City used to be an inch lower (less ground clearance) now all models are the same height.

Still can't believe they charge £175 for Candy White as a special colour.

Odd

Is it that expensive 'sparkly' white ....platinum, I think it's called?........that is expensive but on a Yeti with all the black trim bits would be gorgeous IMO.

There is Moon White metallic.

There is Moon White metallic.

So they charge a premium for the basic white?!

What's there excuse?.

Only Pacific Blue is £0. Not available on L&K

Candy White (Special Colour) is £175. Or it's free on models L&K and Monte Carlo.

Moon White (Metallic/Pearl) is £535.  Or £360 on L&K And Monte Carlo.

Why?

Because there is no free colour available on the L&K there is £175 included in the car price and if you want metallic its only £360. The two prices add up to £535.

I reckon with a little less effort they could make this a lot more complicated.

Either way, the all new model will be worth the wait.

It'll be much lighter and more economical to start with.

I wouldn't be paying big money for big depreciation when it arrives.

One change is that SUK acknowledges that choice of wheel size does effect mpg and emissions - see data on 1.6TDI.

I think you mean the 1.2TSI and 2.0TDI as there is no longer a 1.6TDI

Models equipped with 16" wheels shown there to be faster, quicker and more fuel efficient than the 17", not by much but enough to be given separate specs.

Looking at the web site yesterday and downloaded the brochure - had to laugh that in places it still mentions the 1.8 TSI, 170 TDI and doesn't mention the 1.4 TSI.

As far as I can see the brochure mentions the 1.4 but not the 1.8. Where are you looking.

I've done a search of the January Yeti PDF too and can find no entries for 1.8 or 170 but there are 5 entries for 1.4 TSI!

Does the brochure you've downloaded have "January 2016" on the front page?

Yes I meant 2.0TDI not 1.6TDI - silly me

Just looked again - it's actually in the vehicles specs on the web site not the downloaded brochure

The only change I can find from the July 2015 brochure apart from economy/performance figures mentioned above, is the cost of the 3 year service plan, which has gone up to £528. (though I haven't spent much time looking!)

Cant see any change to ground clearance compared with July 2015 brochure (180mm for all models).

Will any models come with dodgy engine management software, or is that only on the L&K models :giggle:

Have I missed something here? Is there a problem with L&K ECU's?

Not with the 1.8Tsi engine, its the Diesels that there is all sorts of speculation / Rumour and general panic.
