polo ecu cover ..

Featured Replies

We have just bought a polo dune, and i notice they have a nice plastic ecu cover, do you reckon this will fit the fabia?

Interesting must admit I don't like how exposed it is, it's the same on mine.

You can see it in this image ive found:

EngineBay 1

Seems not all models have the covers, but from what ive seen its the later 9n3 engines have them.

Good choice on a Polo Dune, one of my top five wheels on them!

As for the cover, ive never noticed before, im gonna say yeah it will fit though :)

Looks much better that's for sure. Bet they're not easy to find, mind you I keep being surprised these days, seems you can usually find what you're looking for. I've often found breakeryard.com a useful website.

The 1.4 petrol we got is really slow :P

But ye alloys will suite my fabia :P

It will be the misses car, practical 5 door lots of head room for carting the little lad about.

I will try and source a cover and find out the costs via tps/ vw and update here, im sure it would interest people.

For sure. I'd like to get one.

Just found a picture, of my actual car off the sellers images, this shows a clearer ECU and cover. I also notice nice dust caps on top mounts ... lol all the things i might pinch for my car haha.

I think the one in my 9n Polo is metal? Will check tomorrow.

If it's metal then I would imagine it's also held on with shear off bolts. It's not a decorative cover, it's a security plate for thatcham approval.

Ah, that's what it's for!
