you can create an account here :

just create a username with an email address, and it will send you a login password, which you must then change .

when you login you will be able to see a list of maintainence guides and training guides  .  you can pick the fabia mk3 nj  .

the training guides are for the older fabia mainly.

the guides are downloadable and you open them with any pdf reader (  adobe acrobat etc )

you need to pay for access,  so i paid for one hour with a credit card   -  this cost me 8 euro inc vat (  about 6 pounds )

this was enough time to download everything ,  (  13 maintenace guides and about 20 training guides )

 i reccomend it if you wish to know everything about the car

you can put in your VIN and get the whole options spec for your actual car as well

. =  'Vehicle-specific_information-xxxxxxxxx.pdf'

Is this " whole options spec for your actual car" look the same as "CAR DATA" - ie quite a few pages of PR- codes and an explanation for each one?  I'm asking that as in the past I've always requested a "CAR DATA" printout from my local VW/Audi/Seat dealer, except this time, after taking delivery of wife's new Polo, I waited a month or so and requested this "CAR DATA" - I got a blank look from the parts guy (never used this branch for that before), so I stupidly asked if that was not now available - and of course he said "correct!".  Having that "CAR DATA" becomes very handy as the car gets older and you start to either order in parts via the dealer over the phone and give them actual part numbers (and thus avoiding the "can't get that" reply), or source parts from ECP or GSF.

My Skoda dealer ran me a copy off for my new Yeti on 2 March last year. The Parts Manager wasn't aware it (Car Data printout) existed until I told him that it was via erWin.
