I'm back....

Not been on here for a while so thought I would share what I've been up to today. Detailed this lovely Porsche 911 Carrera 4S for a friend today.

It's a bit of a garage queen but hasn't been looked after very well in the past - one or two deep scratches that were removed then the usual wash swirls. No before photos as it was mostly just dusty and had no protection on.

-pre wash was bilt hamber auto foam at 5%.

-washed with Adams Shampoo and incredipad / incredisponge

-Wheels with AF Revolution and WoWo mitt and LE wheel woollies and a few other brushes.

-bilt hamber korrosol for fallout

-car chem tar remover

-clay cloth company clay cloth

-dried with big yellow towel and metro vac sidekick

-attacked with a mixture of Koch Chemie M2.01, Megs M205 and Scholl S40 on various pads on the rotary

-deep scratches with Koch Chemie H8

-wiped down with envy car care filler killer

-swissvax best of show

-AF mint rims on the wheels

-all plastics with AF revive

-tyres with swissvax pneu

-glass with gtechniq g5

-fabric roof cleaned with apc and protected with fabsil

-interior was treated with AF spritz, Dr leather wipes and gyeon leather coat.

Glad to see you posting again & back with a serious bang! That is one hell of a job & a cracking job you made of that!

Loved the 911 from being a young lad, serious cars and a proper sports car!

Fantastic work mate! Still need to try the Koch polishes. Big fan of the megs polishes myself!

It got the full works, then!?! That's outstanding!! Thanks for posting up such an in depth review mate. Really rate your opinion on products after those samples you sent me,and I've yet to use most of them. I think when I come to renew some products, I will be choosing some from the list above!

Hey Ben - great to have you back and posting some awesome material.

 

The pics of the detail look great - did you even have your good lady helping out too? 

 

I had one of these over before Xmas to help to some paint inspection and assess what detailing was required.

 

Then we went out for a test drive - such a lovely machine thats for sure and a really nice place to be 

 

 

Great products used on your detailing regime and some i hope to get my hands on very soon.

 

Not sure what more i can say - as the lads have beat me to it..... stunning car, awesome detail, top job my friend

Thank you. No, unfortunately its not my garage, it was the owner of the cars. If it was mine it would be much cleaner, better storage and much better lighting!
