Long Term MPG - Automatically Resetting

Featured Replies

Afternoon All,

My long term MPG has reset itself twice now. I am not sure if it is supposed to do this by design but it seems quite random (as in it doesn't roll-over 2K miles for example and then back to zero). The first time it happened I wondered whether I had inadvertently reset it myself somehow, however, it did it again yesterday at about 5,500 miles.

Has anybody else noticed this with their cars?

Cheers

It does reset automatically..... A bit of a pain, especially if you want to do a very long term check. In my Tiguan and my wife's Peugeot 2008 I never reset it so I had consumption figures from day one.

If it is the same as the SII then it is every 100 hours.

Confirmed it's every 100 hours

That sounds about right.

Thanks for the prompt replies chaps.
