After going to a Skoda dealership yesterday, I've found this on the driver-side floor of my face-lifted Octavia Laurin+Klement.

 

Is it part-of my car?  Or was it attached to my foot as I got in?

I recognise it. Its not from part of the glove box is it?

Can't remember where from right now but yes it is a part of your cars trim.

Aren't these the bump stops around the boot?

Yep, looks like a boot bump stop to me as well.

It's from the drivers footwell area. I found them in my Octavia after doing some work under the steering column and the door sill playing trim.

No idea what or where though as I could not find any holes to stick them in!

Maybe to keep some trim separated then? An attempt to prevent rattles?

They look very similar to a piece of trim on the drivers door, I've knocked them off when washing the inside of the door before.

 

But it seems that they are from above the pedals as linked above.

I lay in the drivers side footwell last night (that it appears that the previous owner has kept remarkably spik-and-span), and I swear I couldn't see anything either like this, or space for this!

 

Anyone know what it's from?  Interested to know

Skoda in Reading fitted one back the next time I went in on when it fell on my foot the second I drove out after a service and showed them at that point, but it came out again a few months later and the engineer had left so they didn't know what it was then!

I have one of those sitting in my glovebox cause I have no idea where it fell out from.

I had spotted it lying in the driver's footwell.

Must've fallen out when I was fitting bluetooth or footwell lights!!

Mystery continues......

It's a crazy world.

Found one on the floor today,

Reading the other thread they come from above the pedals, which makes sence considering I've had the lower trim out today.

Has anyone found exactly where they come from?

Can't for my life find anything obvious as to where it belongs.
