IDIOT smacked the back of my car :('

Featured Replies

lorry broke down in front, I reversed as some nutter in a twingo gave my 99 felicia a right smack as I was reversing to get around lorry.

at the time no probs, only the cover to the tow bracket came off, his twingo looked a bit sad, the bumper all spilt :)........... plastic crap

anyway happy good old skodie only had a tiny mark on the bumper

at home not so happy the sodding tailgate once opened wont now shut without really slamming it :( could it have been jolted out of sync?

My gold estate started doing that for no apparent reason. Keep meaning to sort it out. I'd imagine the catch adjustment got put out. I was surprised how tough the old Felicias are- after our bump the only damage I can find is to the grill and the bumper bar, no underpanel damage at all. I'd reckon you'll be ok once the catch is re-aligned.

Fingers crossed...

tell you one thing get out............. as i did to ensure other driver was ok....... he was scared !!!!!!!

are you supposed to abuse the other part in france? he almost seemed thankful........... how odd.???? still, yes gotta get the boot lock alighed right

My gfs Felicia (R reg) got hit from behind at a roundabout. The bumper is slightly out of line, but that is it! Boot has always been hard to open. She went badger boshing one evening and the car doby work survied... front shocks rusted though though!

We've had a front strut collapse twice now. Both times it was within yards of home and moving slowly. They go all of a sudden and don't seem to look too bad from underneath beforehand. Dread one letting go on the motorway. Our left sagged gradually but the right went with a bang. That wouldn't be too great at speed.

had a rear spring go on a speed bump..... nice sound, almost crapped myself.

worse was the loss of a wheel on the M1, well to be honest it fell off being dragged onto the recovery lorry, but still at almost 150kph have a rear wheel lock up and then buckle not fun!
