Anybody know if any seats are a straight swap?

Featured Replies

As I may have already mentioned (just a few times!) struggling with with my seats and getting comfy.

Does anyone know if seats from another car are a direct swap?

A8 seats look tempting, maybe even octavia vrs seats?

Maybe a6 seats?

Anyone done a swap before?

Cheers

There is so much talk and gossip about seat 'interchangeability' around the VAG platforms that I would imagine the answer is yes. A quick search does not show up any details about bolt hole arrangements/sizing though. There must be some info somewhere in workshop manuals and the like I imagine.

Just don't go for RS4 seats - £19k a pair and stolen to order !!!

Thanks wile. Yeah rs seats are crazy money. Freind of mine recently had his rs4 stolen so know how desirable they are

Could you try the SEAT seats you had before? You said they were comfortable.

Wasn't me saying the SEAT seats were comfy (similar thread elsewhere) but thanks for the thought.
