Hi, i have just had a gtb2260 conversion. My exhaust comprises of a 3 inch downpipe to a 3 inch piper 0 silencer system. This wasnt too bad on my hybrid pd150 turbo but now it is too loud. Any suggestion? Would having a silencer welded in cause any problems with the mapping? Cheers

No will be fine if you use a small straight through type box.

I've got the smallest silencer that longlife supply as my back box and it's quiet cruising and normal driving,just goes louder on WOT and full boost etc

Its awsome on wot i just want a little less drone when crusing. Where abouts did you have yours installed?

This info is useful to me also thanks, getting my downpipe back system made up in a few weeks so know i definitely need a silencer in there!

Mines used as a back box,so just in front of the bumper where standard back box goes,plenty of room there.

Far too big 2.5 is suffice when for big power.
