electric window issue - broke the auto function?

Featured Replies

I have just fitted the Heko wind deflectors to my car and the front drivers window was a bit awkward as the window would reach the top and come back down again with the safety mechanism.

Got the window to go up and stay up but now after all that fun, the very top push on the window button which makes it go up automatically and the same for down. This has stopped working!

Have I unprogrammed it?

May have. Hold button in up position count to 20 then do the same for down. Now try one touch. ...any luck?

Have you tried to reset the windows i.e. open the windows fully then push the butting to try opening it a bit further. Do the same for closing the windows, all the way and then press again to close them further.

It sounds like the auto function has disabled itself. My Yeti does this occasionally, lift the window up fully with the switch, release then hold again in the fully up position for about 10 seconds, release and try the switch to see if that has reset the auto function.

It seemed to fix itself. I believe the window was too tight with the wind deflectors in it so after they were in a while and loosened, the window worked fine. Thanks for advice guys :)
