Request for Help New Car Paint Protection (Kent/Sussex)

Featured Replies

I have just ordered a new Superb and want to know what to do about Life Shine product. (£299)

I know this is an old Subject, but everybody seems to say do not do it.

Do it yourself or get a local detailer to do it...?

Thoughts?

& Thanks

Assuming the £300 budget - if i were you, i would get some quotes from local detailers to protect your investment.

Recently had this with a work colleague.... Audi wanted £400 for 2.5 HOURS work to apply this type treatment.

Instead - we got prices from some local detailers.... the same £400 got a 2.5 DAYS detail with ceramic coatings etc.

The key being that a fully trained and professional detailer with prepare the paint/car etc before applying product.

Exactly this ^^^

The products are only as good as the prep. And to be fair, you could buy Life Shine off Amazon/eBay for £20 and do as good a job yourself. Likewise, you could put the most expensive ceramic coating on an unprepared car and it wouldn't bond and would last a quarter of the time it should.

Your £300 would be well spent with a detailer!

Hope this helps buddy.

google for "Ceramic Pro"
