Neptunes now powder coated gloss black.

That. Looks. Bloody. Lovely.

Do you mind me asking what it cost to the powder coating?

Thank you.

The wheels were powdercoated by Rimtec in Gravesend, £160.

I have also used The Wheel Specialist in the past, £250 all in but well worth the price!

Thank you.

Crazy, Gravesend is just around the corner from me.. It's like the car wants to come back to me ;)

No no not yet AJ, although I probably need to stop looking at the hatches. I keep thinking I'd like a petrol dsg hatch again.

First dibs if/when you want to sell mate :)

Will do AJ, you know this car better than anyone else.

Not that I'm actively looking but my issue will be trying to find a similar spec hatch.

As you know, this is probably one of the best spec'd mk2 Octavia's out there. I wouldn't be able to find anything that even comes close spec wise.

Minimal requirements will be petrol, DSG, hatch with full leather, xenons and Columbus. Anything else would be a bonus.

Something like this maybe:

Not much to report on over the last 3 or 4 months, just been enjoying her really.

I replaced the battery last week. I noticed it was not cranking instantly in the cold snap so decided not to risk it and replaced it with a Varta Silver Dynamic E44 which is a Bosch S5 with a different label. Nice price and quick delivery from Battery Megastore in Tewkesbury.

I have also added a GPS mount to the dash cam, just got to work out how to activate it now.

Not much planned this spring, in for its MOT next month and will look to upgrade to v14 maps. That's it!
