Lupo S3 Anyone?

Featured Replies

what a beast love to have that and see off evos and m3 and see there faces hehe doesn't look bad either rather it in black!!:)

Doesn't Badger's SWMBO also have a 1.8T Sleeper lupo? Just a conversion but running steels, or something like that? I admire that more than the show car to be honest.

Bill has a lupo and his ibiza is of course a IHI converted job to more than that Lupo.

The lupo is a nice car, but i would have to change the wheel combo (although it looks cool) and raise the suspension, change the front seats, and then it would be the ultimate for me :D !!!!!

Worth every penny of the £10 reserve though :D [

10k, i'd buy that

just wondering if it stops like it goes with those brakes? 280mm vr6 brakes are quite a popular upgrade for the lupo gti people and they've got under half the power tho i suspect they (or anything better) wouldn't fit under the small wheels.

those tyres look way too stretched over those rims! I'd be scared to drive it!

lupos are cwaaaaaaaaap. based on the fact the identical seat arosas are cwaaaaaap. based on the fact i have one and its cwaaaaaaap. oh and it is an overrated overpriced oversized over-here vw!

That's Richard from Venom Motorsport's Lupo...

Only thing I'd do differently would be to run it on OEM Management and put bigger brakes on it.

Lupo's Rock! Nearest new car to a MK1 GTI that VW do! and it C Raaaaap not cwaaaaap :D Learn to speak proper like wot I do!

yours maybe crap. but,i've seen a 1.416v arosa go around alconbury on its door handles, jans(not bills btw) lupo is a very tidy peice of engineering.and didn't ian carvell(sp) race a lupo to some success in the vw cup.i think its a good package, looks ,and power, and with IHI?????wow

I came within inches of buying a Lupo GTi, but they sold it just before I arrived, loved it to bits, so I went home and ordered a vRS instead :)

absolutely nothing wrong with them its just a polo without the boot and i certainly wouldnt say no to a spin in a gti... sure they are quite expensive but then so are all volkswagens compared to the competition. have you been on clublupo.co.uk?

Not to mention those wheels are illegal. Your not allowed any rubber past the outside of the body, the car needs it's wheel arches flaring big style. Plus the colour is aweful.

Looks like a car shaped Jelly Baby (if you know what I mean)

if its the nearest thing to a mk1 gti i feel fully enabled to say its an outdated mishandling overrated underpowered heap of painted rust :P

never like a lupo ever! compared my cheaper arosa to a wee blades lupo at a show one day and we agreed mine was far better with more toys for the money. still didnt handle tho, and the gearbox packed up at 30k. not what i call reliable given my 65k favorit is still as tight as the day if left the factory

I really would have to make it look like a normal Lupo again and then watch peoples faces as I disapear in the distance :P

Don't like it at all as it stands, it might be just the wheels don't look right.
