Parking Sensors

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'm looking at getting a Fabia mk2 for my wife, probably a 2013 plate or newer.

Anyone know which models were specced with rear parking sensors as standard?

You can get sensors retro fitted for less than £200.

Just the Elegance as standard maybe? i'm not sure, but my SE didnt get them from the factory.

You can get them fitted by a dealer or other places but their are some differences..

1. They're played through a speaker in the boot, rather than the car speakers.

2. it doesnt display on the cars radio.

If i was doing it now.. id go for a camera tbh. Sensors are okay, but they do go faulty and IMO cameras are much better. However, it depends on the headunit that the cars got, as to how much that would cost.

Mine is a 1.2 TSI se and came with it

Just bought a 64 plate elegance, it did not have rear sensors fitted. We bought a kit from superskoda and retro fitted oem ourselves. Radio display works perfectly

was that ticked as an optional extra though?

Thanks all, looking at the classifieds on AutoTrader it appears that the Elegance is indeed the trim level where parking sensors are included.

Hopefully this narrows the search sufficiently to convince her to go for a mk3 :)

No it was on it when I bought it.and nothing on the paper work.

I fitted the rear sensors from Skoda last year, easy to do and work great
