hi .had notification from dealer that my 2.0 engine is one that is effected by emissions  scandal.but when i put the chassis no on their checker it states it is NOTeffected by the fothcoming software update any body else got same issue

Any further on, 

did you have the Dealership or Skoda UK Customer Services check if your car is one that van have 'the fix' ?

I'm not bothering taking mine in

they said i put o instead of 0 read to me TOD part of code so is so it is effected. now reg it with compensation co leigh &day dealer to start in march with update.

In New Zealand Skoda/VW have just confirmed that the Amorak utes are the first ones to go in for castration, I mean reprogramming. I look forward to hearing from owners....
