DECIDED TO TAKE MY NAV SETUP OUT FOR MY NEW CAR SO BIG PRICE DROP, LOTS OF UPGRADES LEFT IN.

06 1.9tdi 166k loads of work done as my history on here will show.
Almost full service history and receipts for everything.
New Dmf and clutch 2k miles ago (sachs)
New turbo 2 yrs ago costing over £1k (genuine)
New egr last 3k miles ago (genuine)
New cam belt kit Inc waterpump (complete gates) 2k miles ago
Loads of other bits changed for peace of mind. Had 2 services in the time I've had it using decent stuff from Opie oils.
Have a few grand worth of receipts alone for the above and things like temp sensor, heater resistor, wipers and all the little annoying bits basically.
Loads of upgrades
Maxidots
Seat Leather Mfsw
Cruise control
Auto headlights
Tyre pressure monitoring
Xenon and leds inside and out
All 2015 badges and chrome door escutcheons / kick plates
Jumbo box with working rear vents
4 keys (3 remote 1 x blade type)
MK5 Golf leather and chrome gearknob
Also have old parts from upgrades..
Car has had everything it could need and more and has served me without incident. I am paranoid and change everything when I buy a car. will update with pics when I get a chance, only thing lets it down is a crease dent in driver door and scuff on rear passenger door.
Short MOT till May, was going to do it before sale at £2500 but its now Sorn and uninsured so not sure I can hence price. May need new droplinks for mot but I honestly can't think of anything else it would need.

I'm happy to remove bits and reduce the price as I am getting interest in some of the parts.

Sensible offers considered, with or without options. I do think want to sell any parts until the car is gone though sorry.

Price drop for audio and alloys removed, will come with 15" vw alloys with decent tyres.

Will be selling Bluetooth, reversing camera setup, window blinds etc separately so none of that is included now.

That's a cracking price!

Thanks mate, I want someone on here to buy it really as listing on eBay people won't believe what I've had done and I don't want some dealer getting the benefit of all the money I have spent. It's not perfect by any means but when I sell it I will list every single fault. All used cars have them, better to know them first. This place has been a valuable source of information for me and I like the people on here. I want to get it off my drive and the money to get a Cambelt on the new car. I'm starting again with changing everything lol. I bought a 2008 mk5 golf 1.9 tdi match, pretty much the same car just less miles and smaller. Hopefully that is an indication of just how much faith I have in the bxe.

All the faults I know of are:

One dead glow plug, like that when I got it always starts first time with one turn if the engine

When up to temperature restarting gives engine judder on startup, it's the starter motor as I changed battery and temp sensor. It's a well documented problem on here, only started after the new flywheel and it's common. Most ignore it until the starter packs up. If I didn't have a gravel drive I would have changed it

It needs front left drop link , it rattles a bit over rough roads.

The dents in the door always bothered me

The rear screen demist doesn't work

That is it, everything that's wrong with it. No other faults at all I know of, vcds shows no errors and everything works.

I would drive 500 miles in it right now without even checking the oil. That's how reliable it is!
