are there any members out there in barnsley?

there was a robbery involving a security van and two stolen cars

a people carrier (all the info i have)

and my silver octy vRS

i'm told it happened on 9th december

any ifo on the robbery would be appreciated even if its only what you've seen on the news or read in the local paper

sounds like your cars taken a beating as well as been covered in red paint, lovely! glad its found though

Im from about 7 miles outside Barnsley, heard about this on the radio, will certainly be keeping an eye out for anything out of the ordinary as I normally do when I hear anything like this.

He added: "It was brutal, I was shocked. They didn't say a word as they grabbed the box and jumped in a Skoda. A customer tried to smash the window to get the keys but he didn't manage it."

Brutal. Seems like someone took a bit of a vigliante stance.

just spoken to the police.

red staining appears to be limited to the rear seats and possibly carpet.

i'm told the rest of the car appears to be in good condition.

it's covered a few hundred miles since it was taken.

apparently it's muddy as hell so its probably been rallied!!

police are releasing it to the insurance company tomorrow so i should see it at my local dealer by friday!!!!

i'll go take some pics and post them on here
