Rust on rear hatch

Featured Replies

I have Octavia estate which was first Reg March 2009 with the Black Metallic paint work. I have looked after the body work since new but I'm surprise that I finding rust bubbles on leading edge of rear hatch

Plus paint flaking off on N/S front above the wind screen which is showing the white primer underneath black paintwork.

The question is a any chance of Skoda would repaire the faulty paintwork or this could be uphill battle?

Thanks

Hi mate,

No harm in trying, you will need to contact your local friendly skoda dealer - going to one with a bodyshop will expediate the process.

I'm going through the process with VW for my Passat but after almost a year of fighting I am now at the small claims court stage to get my car repaired under warranty as it should be.

Again, definitely worth a try. Good luck, and keep us updated :)
