  • Hi all, it's been a long, long, long, long ( you get the idea 🙈😂) time since I've posted on here,  been deep in the Facebook group build stuff , seams like every one is on the Facebook now 🤷‍♂️

Thanks mate, it's a work in progress lol,

Yes, spoke to a few boys and decides that's the best bet to get a good boost reading, some ppl put it on the fpr but I'm not keen, always put the feed on the recirculation valve.

I'm wanting to fit a boost gauge.... was it easy to pipe through to the dash ?

I piped it threw the plastic trim for the loom and then threw the grommet behind the scuttle, the grommet is behind the glovebox under the big black wire loom thing lol I cut a hole in the back of the glovebox for the sender to sit inside, it looks **** the now but I will be tidying it up with a nice rubber grommet.

thanks for the info, its one of the next things I will be adding to mine, so I can see what boost I'm getting......

any reason you went for a digital one as apposed to an analogue one ?

I prefer the digital one's because I personally find they are more accurate at displaying the boost, a analogue gauge with a needle is harder to read at a glance and harder to read in the dark, even with the back light on the gauge, big bright digital numbers I find are better lol.

You should defo get one, changes the look of the dash nicely imo, you got a build thread mate?

yup, "Daddy" Phantom, in this section....... I just have a couple of issues at the moment, and one of them is missing boost between turbo and intake... I would like to be able to "see" the boost levels when driving, our Abarth has a boost gauge as OE ...

I will have a look the now lol, my mates St does too but it's in bar and is only for the look I recon as it only moves a tiny bit, not a fan of OE gauges tbh,

That's a video that failed lol

just reading as a voltmeter right ? :)

  • Author

It gives you the voltage for 1 min then goes on to vac and boost, due gauge volt/ boost (psi)
