Looking at having my windows tinted ,does anyone know of a good one around the Wakefield/West Yorkshire area .

I don't know the area but it may be worth asking the dealer who they use to do their tints. The dealer will have a local guy they use for their dealer fit options. If you have a good salesman you can ask them to put it to them under their account and just pay cost.

Cheers would never have thought of that ,just had car at dealers today for sat nav upgrade as well .

Had mine done at MK window films in Mapplewell. Very good job and about £170 including collection and delivery to/from my house.

Essential to make sure you use someone good. If they dont reseal the window regulator properly back to the door, you'll have water ****ing into your footwells....

 

I've had this before when I've had tinting done, wont be using that company again, and they said it wasn't their fault.

I used a company who didn't take the panels off to do it - didn't want a new car being interfered with.

They just so happen to have the best reputation in the North East too. I know it doesn't help you but they are called Custom Tint - £150 for the rear doors and rear window.

The sunset glass option is a very light tint from the factory - if you compare it with factory tints from the likes of Audi and BMW, it hardly looks tinted at all.

Plus, my car was already built when I ordered it!

Ak tints in beeston, leeds.Really nice bloke. Did mine for 140 on a previous estate. Near white rose as well so can spend a few hrs there while he does it.
