First off, I hope they are thinking about what we're all going to do!

Ok so it needs codes to navigate...

Watch Spot too :) Although I've read the sponsor/ aka military isn't proceeding with the big mules as they are too noisy. I'm hoping they can use them to send into disaster areas.

Now, who still has there mouth closed??

I know it's just a robot, but I don't like the bullying stuff. Weird.

I know what you mean - it still feels like maltreating a child watching it, even though it has no emotions :(

But deploy it to a "shopping mall" where it can put up with being pushed... or it can scout ahead...

I'm not sure I can recall seeing "sci-fi" so close to real. Although maybe we'll be on mars in the next 40years...maybe atlas ;)

Then... chappie

[spoilers][this will spoil the film]

If you've not seen this film btw ;) Well worth picking it up somewhere, quite emotional, even though it's a. scifi and b, just a robot ;) It's got some really interesting moments. Don't watch too many trailers though...

Cripes !

Start singing now "Me and my shadow, walking down the avenue . . . "

I knew that the military were well alomg the road with these, but the real-time capability ! Wow !

Nick

It's powered the blood of it's abusers

and I thought it walked like this guy

Until they get batteries improved lots and lots it's just a tech demo. The mule ran on a petrol engine that might be why it was so loud. Plus it was probably a lot harder to repair than a 4x4.

DARPA is working on exoskeletons as well.
