If you've not seen this film btw Well worth picking it up somewhere, quite emotional, even though it's a. scifi and b, just a robot It's got some really interesting moments. Don't watch too many trailers though...

Until they get batteries improved lots and lots it's just a tech demo. The mule ran on a petrol engine that might be why it was so loud. Plus it was probably a lot harder to repair than a 4x4.

DARPA is working on exoskeletons as well.
