Flat battery

Featured Replies

I got flat (uncharged) battery for some days ago. I could not understand what war wrong, because I charged it some days before I parked the car?

And the battery was ok before.....

I measured it, and find the quiescent current was 380 mA!

So I understand that the battery get "flat".

I find that the glove (the room in front of the passenger) var open and there was light inside!

I closed the glove, but there was still 130 mA in quiescent current

Then I waited nearly an our, and then the quiescent current was only 3 mA.

Thats pretty low!

So no I am happy!

I have been advised on the in door light, that it can discharge the battery, but I have not thought about

the glove!

So now I know that I vill not forget to close the glove!
