Fuel sender/fuel gauge

Featured Replies

My mk1 Octavia vrs fuel gauge has stopped working I believe it to be the in tank fuel sender. Would any petrol golf/Octavia/Leon fuel sender be correct to use?

if you have "miles left in tank"  facility check that first  if it's working (roughly)    then it's more like the dash

The sender can easily be tested with a multimeter before you go and buying new parts

They should be the same. I have an aftermarket fuel pump in a Leon housing and gauges are all good.

do some research in the furby zone I think there was a suggestion that  the "resistor/rheostat"  had two versions which worked sort of back to front as it were    they may be date critical and relate also to Octy's
