Hi lovely people,

I ordered an ex-test drive car with 10,000 miles on the clock last week, very excited to get my hands on the new Fabia!

But I'm now worried after reading on here about issues with smartlink and whether or not mine will have it- reg is Gd15 with first registration date being 1st June 2015. Does anyone know if reg and built date are the same? And if this is likely to have smartlink or just mirror link?

Don't want to get my hopes up!

Well the week starting 1st June 2015 was build week 23, as such I would guess the car was built at least 4 weeks previous if not more. So your car would be, I would guess be pre build week 22. Sorry!

Thankyou! I wasn't able to delete the duplicate post. You're spot on though, I phoned Skoda and they confirmed it was built before week 22!

Will try and persuade them to upgrade the system as a good will act before I buy!

It can't be upgraded though some have been successful in getting a Kenwood satnav plug in installed, good luck!
