I see that TT brakes are a common upgrade for the octavia, would these brakes fit behind the standard wheels of an octy 4x4 or would they need much bigger wheels?

the vRS / TT 312mm brakes will fit behind the std 16" wheels.

It's been a while but IIRC the 4x4's standard wheels are 16" and the 312mm's fit behind fine. BTW you won't need the full setup to upgrade as the calipers and pads are the same as what you have. All you need is the carriers and discs.

Having said that eddy, the group buy on here for £225 inc delivery is a bargain price, and not far off what you'd be paying just foir the carriers and discs - as i found out, so went with the GB

For the fronts, I think you can choose any VAG donor vehicle that uses the 312mm discs.

That's right, I've got R32 rears on mine which are basically the same except the calipers come painted blue.

Henry - got mine sitting at home waiting to go on! Im going to do the rears also Ive decided when funds allow.
